LifeQuest headquarters is located in Wautoma, Wisconsin, approximately 45 miles west of Oshkosh. Our EMS and fire experienced staff has over 150 years of combined pre-hospital emergency medical services experience, including Paramedics, EMT Intermediate Technicians, EMT Basics, and First Responders. Many of our staff continues to serve their individual communities as members of their fire departments and ambulance services.
LifeQuest’s investment in its technology infrastructure enables our Clients to take advantage of the latest technology for claims submission and revenue recovery. This investment is one of the things that set us apart from other billing services. The billing, collection, and data management systems we utilize reflect over 23 years of actual field tested procedures. These procedures produce high returns in revenue for the Clients we serve. Providing ‘quality, speed, and service’ to our Clients is always our first priority.
The founder and President of LifeQuest is Gerald W. Miller, NREMT-P. During the late 1980’s, Jerry recognized the need for a team of professionals to come together and assist EMS providers in properly and efficiently billing for the services they provided. Jerry compiled a team of EMS trained professionals to lighten the load for EMS providers and assist them in effectively processing and billing their transports.
LifeQuest has grown tremendously since incorporating in 1992 while still maintaining the ‘individuality’ of the Clients we serve. We have 50 highly trained full-time staff members dedicated to emergency medical services billing and collection. We use our experience to ensure that our Clients receive the maximum allowable for their transports.
Our approach to our Clients’ patients is always positive. Our philosophy is that it is important for our Clients and us to stay on top of any concerns or issues involving patients and we ensure that each and every inquiry is addressed completely and professionally.

LifeQuest provides its Clients with management reports that help them maximize their potential amidst the ever demanding requirements of state and federal regulations.
LifeQuest is licensed by the Department of Financial Institutions as a bonded collection agency making LifeQuest a complete ‘turn-key’ operation. We do not utilize hard collection techniques. Our goal has always been to collect on accounts as early in the process as possible. We utilize specialized collection techniques as well as enhanced patient contact emphasizing on obtaining payment in full or placing patients in payment plans.
