LifeQuest has over 150 years of combined pre-hospital emergency medical services experience. Since incorporating on January 1, 1992, Lifeline Systems Inc., d/b/a LifeQuest, has been providing quality billing, collection, and data management services to fire and ambulance providers in the Midwest. Ambulance and fire billing procedures are specialized with a very distinct set of rules to follow in order to obtain maximum payment. Our ability and willingness to provide quality, speed, and service to our Clients is our first priority. The billing, collection, and data management systems that will be utilized for your service reflect over twenty-three years of actual field tested procedures. These procedures will produce high returns in revenue for your ambulance service. In addition, LifeQuest continually provides you, our Clients, as well as our staff, with information and training on billing and collection issues. In fact, our Compliance Program will assist you in meeting and exceeding the rules and regulations established both at the State and Federal level.

History
The founder and President of LifeLine Systems Inc., d.b.a. LifeQuest is Gerald W. Miller, NREMT-P. In 1988, Jerry recognized the need for a team of professionals to come together and assist EMS providers in properly and efficiently billing for their services. It became clear early on that there was a definite need for all ambulance services to effectively process their runs. Jerry then formed a team of EMS-trained professionals to step up and take on the burden for EMS providers.

LifeQuest has grown tremendously over the years, while maintaining the individuality of the Clients we serve. The company has grown considerably and now offers accounts payable and payroll services. LifeQuest is licensed by the Department of Financial Institutions as a bonded collection agency. LifeQuest can take your runs or responses through the billing process and into collection, if your service so desires. By keeping the account 'in-house' through the entire process, we are familiar with the history of the claim, and therefore can maximize collection efforts. Our competitors forward your delinquent accounts on to an 'out-of-house' collection agency, and essentially the process starts again. LifeQuest provides these services at a cost far below the Industry standard.

Data Management is a very vital component to any service's overall goal to operate both efficiently and cost effectively. LifeQuest provides management reports that will help you maximize the full potential of your service. With State and Federal offices requiring the transmission of your data, the management aspects of billing are becoming evermore demanding.

All of the support staff at our office are EMS trained personnel and are well versed with the terminology of the EMS profession.
